Bookings

Camper hire cancellations
We understand that circumstances can change and you may need to cancel your booking. A booking is considered cancel when the “cancel” button is hit on your Camplify account relating to that specific booking. We will always take each scenario into consideration and subject to availability, do our best to accommodate you regarding rescheduling/rebooking. 
 
The hirer must pay the cancellation fee notified to you when the cancellation is accepted. 
Change Mind Policy
• Full refund up to 30 days from the start of the booking
• Less then 30 days to 10 days 90% credit
• Less then 10 days from the start of the booking no credit or refund
Government restriction
• Full refund up to 5 days before the start of booking
• Full credit up to 24 hours before the start of booking
Do I have to pay a deposit on the camper?

Yes, a 50% deposit is required once the booking has been approved to secure your dates.

Do you have a minimum camper booking hire?

Our minimum hire is for 3 days, depending on the time of year.

How do the camper hire payments work – Deposits & Cancellations?

 

The team at Camplify require a 25% payment at the time of booking (your deposit) and the remainder will be charged 30 days prior to your departure. If you are booking dates within 30 day of departure, full payment will be taken upon securing the booking.

  • Cancel up to 30 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less any applicable booking fees.
  • Cancel between 30 and 7 days before start of booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 7 days before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
  • Cancel due to a government restriction up to 5 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund.

 

How does the bond work for camper hire?

The security bond works just like a hotel, Camplify takes an imprint of your credit card at the time of booking they only take any funds if any damage occurs or the camper is not returned as per the hire conditions.

Who is Camplify and do I have to book through their website?
We exclusively hire our campers, Carl, Eddy & Bob through our partners Camplify. They are the experts in renting campers, motorhomes and RVs and are there to answer any of your questions relating to your holiday, rental agreement, or the online booking process.
If anything should go wrong whilst on your holiday, Camplify have a knowledgable team to help both the hirers and the owners by providing advice.
Camplify provides the insurance for the camper and roadside assistance should anything not go to plan on your travels.

Hiring

Are the campers pet friendly?

Pets permitted outside with prior agreement, let us know more about your pet on the booking request.

Are there any age restrictions for hiring the campers?

Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Can I take the camper of road?

Off-road will be considered, let us know where you were planning on going.

Compulsory for Off-Road trips – Outback trip clean -excluding toilet $250.00 Per Booking

Can you clean the camper for us?
Yes, we can! Just select the option at the time of booking.
Just remember – we do not allow smoking inside the camper or the annex and if the chemical toilet is used during the hire, you must clean this yourself because well, that’s just gross! 

 

 

Do you hire linen with the camper?
Yes, we can provide the following;
2x fitted sheets
2x top sheets
2x pillow cases
Please select the additional option at the time of booking.
You will need to provide your own pillows, sleeping bag/doona and towels.

 

Do you offer a delivery and set up service?

Yes, we can deliver to a location of your choice within 300km distance from Greenwood, and set everything up for you.

What is a brake controller and do I need one for towing the camper?
A brake controller is an electronic device that activates and controls the electric brakes of a trailer and is required by law for towing a trailer of 750 kg gross trailer mass (GTM) or more.
To tow our camper trailers you must have an electric brake fitted to your car or hire a portable brake controller. To hire, please select the option at the time of booking.
What sort of car do I need to tow BOB the Hawk?
Bob has a gross trailer mass of 1526kg and a tow ball weight of 140kg.
We recommend towing with;
– SUV
– 4×4
– Large Sedan
We have various tow hitches & trailer plug adapters to suit almost any car.
To ascertain the towing mass of your vehicle, look at the towing section in the vehicle manufacture’s handbook. The rating will include a trailer weight capacity and trailer ball weight capacity – both of which must not be exceeded.
An Electronic Brake Controller is Required. If this is not fitted in your tow vehicle please select the Portable Brake Controller option at the time of booking.
What sort of vehicle do I need to tow CARL the camper or Eddy the Explorer?
Carl  & Eddy have a gross trailer mass of 2500kg and a tow ball weight of 140kg.
We recommend towing with;
– SUV
– 4×4
– Large 4×4

Insurance

Insurance for camper hires.
Comprehensive insurance is included for sealed and gravel roads as well as 24/7 NRMA (RAC) roadside assistance for all hires. The full PDF is listed on Camplify’s website, however if you require this prior to departure, just let us know. 
 
General Exclusions;
 
Damage to the suspension or underbody of the camper or apparatus fixed beneath the vehicle caused by irresponsible driving/4×4 or driving beyond the capabilities of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the hirer. Any damage costs associated will be charged/taken from your bond. 
 
Hirers Personal Belongings – The policy does not cover the hirers personal belongings and equipment left in the camper. We strongly recommend keeping these valuables with you. 
What happens if something happens during the camper hire?

If something goes wrong you can feel safe in the fact that every hire on Camplify includes NRMA (RAC) nationwide roadside assistance, and the Camplify team is always there to assist.

Pick up

How long does the handover take?

We will run through the setup and pack down with you when you come to pick up the camper.  This usually takes between 45  minutes and an hour.

We provide with the camper a printed setup and pack down guide with a checklist of all the gear provided.

What time can I collect/return the camper?

As we both work, pick up is after 4 pm and drop off is before 11 am. We are pretty flexible on weekends. 

We will always do our best to accommodate you so please just let us know if you require the camper outside of these time.

Early pick up is $50 – before 4 pm

Late drop off is $50 – after 11 am

Where can I pick up/return the camper?

The camper can be picked up or dropped off at either Greenwood or Wanneroo. The designated place is Greenwood but please let us know at the time of booking if Wanneroo suits you better.
